Unicorn In An Enchanted Glowing Forest Coloring Page

A unicorn picks its way through a stand of tall straight trunks, marked with short bark strokes and layered several deep on both sides so that the forest closes in behind it. Round orbs of light drift in the air between the trees, a canopy of pointed leaves runs across the top of the sheet, and the floor is covered in grass tufts, small stones and low plants, with two broad leaves reaching in from the bottom corners. Be warned that the file calls this a simple page and it is not. There is more line work here than anywhere else in this set, and a young child will find it slow going.

The orbs are the whole reason to pick this page. Leave every one of them as bare paper and put your darkest values in the trunks immediately behind them. They will start to glow, and nothing else on the sheet needs to do any work.

Forests really do glow. Several woodland fungi give off a faint steady green light at night, enough to see rotting logs shining, which country people once called foxfire.
