Mermaid Family In An Underwater Palace Coloring Page

Three mermaids stand together in the great hall of a palace, a taller one on the left, one on the right with her hand on a child's shoulder, and the small one between them. The architecture around them is where this page spends its detail. Tall fluted columns rise on both sides topped with bulbous lotus capitals, ornate lanterns hang between them, and behind the group a huge arched window is divided into a grid of panes, each pane filled with its own spiral. Above that an elaborate crest and canopy stretch across the top of the sheet. The floor and the lower corners are filled with coral fans, weed and flowers packed edge to edge. All three tails are scaled and each is patterned slightly differently, which is worth noticing before you choose colors. This is a genuinely crowded sheet with almost no white space anywhere. Choose a small palette, three or four colors used repeatedly, or the page will turn into noise however carefully you work.
