Mermaid Discovering A Sunken Treasure Chest Coloring Page

A mermaid has found a chest on the seabed and reached over to lift its lid, and the moment is caught just as the light falls in. The chest is the most structured object on the sheet: a plank built box with a domed lid, a heavy round lock plate, iron corner bands, and a carrying handle on top. Inside sit three long rolled shapes and a heap of about a dozen round pearls. Her tail sweeps away to the right in one long unbroken curve and ends in a wide fluke, and unlike most of the mermaids here it carries no scale pattern at all, which leaves an enormous smooth area for a single color or a gradient. Around the chest the seabed is sparse: one branching seaweed on the left, two coral clumps, a small anemone and two loose pearls. The sand is a single soft line. Note that a small stray mark sits in the bottom right corner near the coral, a flaw in the original drawing rather than part of the scene, and it disappears under any color you put over it.
