Angel Floating Peacefully In Soft Clouds Coloring Page

An angel hovers a little way above a bank of cloud with her eyes shut, her hands folded together under her chin and one bare foot dangling below the hem of her gown. Nothing in the picture is in a hurry. Both wings are open and drawn in three tidy rows of rounded feathers, wide at the shoulder and tapering to a point, and a thin oval halo sits well above the head rather than resting on it. The gown is one long smooth shape with four or five fold lines suggesting movement in the air. Below, the cloud is built from about eight overlapping bubbles of different sizes, with two smaller puffs drifting off to the right. That cloud is the easiest thing on the page and the most useful, because it is the only place where a light color reads properly against all the white. Pick a pale blue or lilac for it and the angel above will lift off the paper. This is one of the gentler sheets in the collection and it suits a child who wants something calm rather than something busy.
