Tractor With A Plow Attachment Turning Soil

The plow is what you came for and it sits fully in frame. A gang of curved blades hangs off the side of the tractor on a heavy steel frame, each shaped like a shallow scoop, lined up one behind another so the whole assembly steps away toward the back of the machine. The tractor above is drawn in profile with a boxy glazed cab, a tall thin exhaust and one deeply treaded rear wheel.

The ground has already been worked. Long ridges of turned soil run across the lower half in parallel bands, broken up by scattered clods, and they carry right out to both edges.

Freshly turned earth is darker than the ground beside it, and using that is what will sell the scene. Work a deep brown into the ridges nearest the plow and let the bands grow lighter as they run away from it. The blades themselves should stay pale, because steel in daily use is polished bright rather than rusty.
