Viking Longship With Warriors Rowing Coloring Page

Seven bearded warriors row a longship across the bottom of this page, every one of them in a horned helmet. The man at the front braces a round shield with a knot emblem on it, and one at the back has his fist in the air. Four long oars reach down from the near side and dip toward the surface. The prow sweeps up high on the left and curls over into a hook, while the stern rises on the right and carries a small square flag.

A wide blank sail hangs from the yard above the crew, and the hull shows the overlapping planks of clinker building as a set of parallel curves. The water is quiet here, only a few loose strokes suggesting it.

That empty sail is an invitation. Stripes, a raven, a sun, or bold blocks of tone all work, and it is the one large area on the sheet with no lines to respect. Hold the hull planks in a single wood shade so the crew and the sail keep attention.
