Tractor Pulling A Trailer On A Dirt Road

A tractor hauls a big high sided trailer along a track that cuts between two fields. The trailer is the larger half of the picture and it carries detail worth taking slowly: a hooped cover arches over the front section, the side panels are divided into tall narrow bays, and the rear runs on a pair of axles set close together, so there are four wheels at that end alone.

The fields either side are drawn as long smooth contour lines following the roll of the ground, with almost no texture in them, and the sky is left entirely blank.

Because the background is so restrained, this page can carry plenty of contrast without getting busy. Make the trailer the loudest thing here, then pick something different for the tractor so the two read as separate machines rather than one long vehicle. Those contour lines are an opportunity as well: filling the strips in alternating tones of a single green turns flat ground into something that rolls.
