Compared with the other tractors here this one shows its workings, and that is the appeal. The hood is long and low with a tall upright grille at the far end ruled into narrow vertical slots. Behind the hood the engine is left open, so a row of small blocks, caps and pipes stacked between the frame rails is visible, and every one of them is a separate closed shape. Rising above all of it is a slim exhaust pipe with a little hinged cap tipped over the top. No cab encloses the driver. A bare seat sits at the back with a steering wheel on a slanted column in front of it, and nobody is drawn in it, so the machine speaks for itself. The rear wheel is a big soft balloon tire with long curved lines running around it and a sweeping guard overhead. Two smaller wheels with ribbed edges carry the front and far side. A faint line marks the ground. The small parts through the middle make this the most detailed sheet in the set, so it suits older hands and finer pens.
