Cute Mini Tractor With Big Wheels

Everything here is rounded off. The tractor has a tall curved hood with a broad grille of vertical bars, two big round headlamps sitting where eyes would go, and a canopy roof over an open seat, which together give it a face without anyone having to draw one. The wheels are deliberately out of proportion, far larger than the body needs, and each carries a bold chevron tread with wide gaps between the blocks.

A spray of leaves and small blossoms curls down from the top left corner, and little rounded stones and flower heads are dotted in the grass under the wheels. Those are the only fussy parts of an otherwise generous drawing.

Because the shapes are so large, this page works with crayons and thick markers that would be hopeless on a detailed sheet. Younger children can put one flat color on the hood and another on the roof and already have something that looks finished. To push it further, the grille bars and the tread blocks can each take alternating shades, which turns two simple areas into the most interesting part of the picture.
