This container ship sits beside a quay, seen from just off the bow so the hull sweeps away toward the stern on the right. Deck cargo is stacked four boxes high in a stepped pyramid, and every box carries the fine vertical ribbing that real shipping containers have, which fills the middle of the sheet with narrow strips to work through. Behind the stack the bridge block rises, topped by a slim mast and a cluster of aerials. Over on the right a dockside crane leans its arm out above more containers waiting on the wharf, and the edge of the quay shows at the left of the waterline.

The hull is left almost entirely open, one long white sweep broken only by a small oval and the anchor line running down from the bow. That contrast is the useful part of the drawing: a wide calm area to lay one flat tone against a cargo stack that rewards patience.

Water is suggested rather than drawn, just a few loose ripples either side of the bow, so the sea can be as pale or as deep as you like. Everything above deck height is blank paper, ready for gulls or a port skyline.
