Two emergency call takers are seen from behind, seated side by side at a long desk. Because their backs are turned, you get the shapes of two heads, two headsets and two tall chairs instead of any faces. One has hair cut in a straight bob to the jaw, the other has short cropped hair, and both are outlined with a few strokes inside and nothing filled.
Above them, two big framed panels are mounted on the wall, and each one holds a simple map. The lines wander like rivers and back roads, branching and curling across the panel with wide empty space between them. There are no readouts, no numbers and no labels anywhere on either map, so those large panels are open area you can treat however you like.
The desk is a plain slab on thin legs, running almost the full width of the sheet. Between the two chairs sits a single tall mug. The chairs have high padded backs, armrests just visible at the sides, and a five point base with casters underneath.
One long horizontal line marks where the floor meets the wall. The rest of the background is left as white paper.
