Bomb Squad Robot Approaching A Dangerous Package Coloring Page

A tracked robot dominates the middle of this page and it is packed with mechanical detail. Its head is a smooth dome with two lens housings set into the front like eyes, and a slim antenna curves up from behind, trailing a coiled cable down the side. One jointed arm reaches forward and ends in a gripper with a row of narrow fingers, closing on a stack of plain rectangular parcels. A second, wider parcel rests against the body. Underneath, two rubber tracks wrap around cogged wheels, and the tread blocks are drawn one by one, which makes them ideal for alternating light and dark as you work around each loop. The surprise is the background. Instead of a street or a barricade, flowers cover the whole sheet: wide open daisies, five petal blossoms, curling stems, scattered leaves and loose dots filling the gaps. That contrast between hard machinery and soft petals is the reason to color it. Go metallic and cool on the robot, then let the flowers run bright and unrelated behind it, and the machine will stand forward off the page without needing any outline work at all.
