The ambulance takes up most of this page and it is drawn from the front corner, so you get the whole grille and one long side at once. A light bar with three separate lamp housings sits across the roof, and each housing is outlined on its own, which means you can alternate two colors along the bar instead of flooding the whole thing. Four small square windows run along the top of the box body, above a wider passenger window and a side door with its own glass. Look through the windscreen and you will find seats and headrests already sketched in, faint enough that a pale tone keeps them from competing with the bodywork. The front end carries a slatted grille, a pair of round lamps on each side and a deep bumper. Short curved strokes float behind the back doors and thin straight lines run under the wheels, which is how movement gets shown here instead of drawing a road. Beyond the van itself the sheet has been left completely empty, and that surround is worth keeping that way, or taking no more than a wash of one flat color, because the vehicle is already busy enough to carry the page on its own.
