The drum is the whole point of a road roller, and here it is the largest shape on the page. It sits at the front left, a wide smooth cylinder seen at a slight angle so both the rolling face and the flat end are visible, and not one line is drawn across it. That leaves a big open area waiting for a solid color.
Behind the drum the machine steps up into an open cab. A flat canopy roof rests on slim posts, a padded seat faces forward, and the body panels along the side stay entirely blank. A treaded tire with a ringed hub sits at the back and keeps everything level. Two long lines beneath the machine stand in for the strip of road it has already flattened.
Real rollers tend toward bright yellow or orange so that nobody on site misses them, and either choice makes this page pop. The drum itself is usually bare steel. Light gray there, set against a strong color on the bodywork, comes closest to how the machine looks at work.
