Construction Worker In Hard Hat Holding Blueprints Coloring Page

A person rather than a machine, and drawn far more realistically than the rest of this group. The worker stands turned slightly away, hard hat tipped forward over a lined brow, a short beard along the jaw, both hands holding a large sheet of paper that curls at its edges. His shirt has a buttoned chest pocket and the strap of a pair of overalls across one shoulder. A wide belt with a plain buckle crosses the waist. Around him the sheet is decorated: scrolled ornament in all four corners, a faint damask pattern spreading behind his shoulders, small rosettes down both sides. The plan he is holding is blank. That is deliberate and it is the best part of the page, because whoever colors it can draw their own building, floor plan or nonsense diagram in the space. Skin, beard and hat give three clearly separate areas, and there is room for real shading on the face if you want it. The ornamental frame is fine enough to need a pencil rather than a marker. Older children and adults get more out of this one than young children will.
