Busy Construction Site With Multiple Machines Working Coloring Page

Several machines share this page, which makes it feel busy without being complicated. A tower crane stands at the back with its long jib reaching right across the top of the sheet and a hook hanging from each end. Below and to the left an excavator sits on tracks with its arm curled up. A bulldozer angles across the center with its blade down, and a fourth tracked machine works away at the right. Rolling mounds close off the background and the ground is marked with nothing more than a few short curved strokes. Line weight is even and light throughout and there is very little interior detail, so the page reads clearly from across a room. Because the machines are separate and spread out, this is a good sheet for two children to share, each taking a corner. Giving every machine its own color keeps them from merging into one another. The crane is mostly open lattice, so it needs only the frame colored rather than any fill. Hills behind take a flat wash. It covers a lot of ground for a page with this few lines on it.
