Cars are staged nose to tail down the right side of the frame, with the two front runners drawn large at the left. Nearest is a long hood muscle car with round headlights, a mesh grille and a tall rear wing, and beside it sits a stripped rail whose front suspension and coil springs are left fully exposed. Behind them four more silhouettes shrink toward the vanishing point, and a cloud of tire smoke rolls up on the right.
The asphalt is ruled with long speed lines converging on that same point, which is a small gift: fill them in two or three alternating tones and the road looks like it is moving. A timing tower stands at the far left with its boards drawn blank, so you can letter your own numbers onto them.
The top of the sheet is decorative rather than literal, a band of scrollwork and small scattered shapes floating above the action. Treat it as a border. Chrome trim, grilles and wheel faces are the spots to leave white. This is a busy page for a confident colorist, and it prints cleanly at letter size.
