Vintage Biplane Doing A Loop-de-loop In The Sky Coloring Page
A biplane with a four blade propeller and braced double wings sits alone in the middle of an almost entirely blank sheet.

An old fashioned biplane fills the middle of this page and absolutely nothing else does. It is drawn from slightly below and ahead, so you get the rounded engine cowling head on, a four blade propeller spinning in front of it, and both wings stacked one above the other. Short struts run between the wingtips with crossed bracing wires between them. Two main wheels hang on sprung legs under the nose and a small tail wheel sits far back under the fin.
The title promises a loop and the drawing does not deliver one. The aircraft is in level flight with no sky, no horizon and no looping trail behind it, which leaves roughly four fifths of the sheet empty.
Treat that as the activity rather than the flaw. Draw the loop in yourself as a long curving ribbon, and the page becomes something a child made rather than something they filled in.
Barnstormers toured the American countryside through the 1920s in machines very like this one, landing in pasture and charging a few dollars a ride. The deliberate loop predates them: pilots in Russia and France were both flying them by 1913.
