Crop Duster Plane Spraying Fields Coloring Page
An agricultural plane banks low over a field drawn in thousands of fine strokes, spray booms rigged beneath its wing.

An agricultural aircraft banks across the upper half of this page with its high wing braced by struts and its fixed wheels hanging below. The propeller is caught mid turn at the nose, the tail number L443 is lettered just behind it, and a row of spray booms is rigged along the underside of the wing. Swirled clouds fill the sky behind, and ornamental flourishes curl into all four corners. The entire lower half is a single field, rendered as thousands of fine upright strokes with furrow lines running away to the right.
That field is the reason this one is marked as detailed. It is genuinely hours of work, and a broad marker will flatten it instantly, so this is pencil territory.
One thing the drawing leaves out: the booms are there but nothing is coming out of them. No mist, no spray trail. If you want the page to match its title you will have to add that yourself.
Aerial crop treatment started in Ohio in 1921, when a modified army biplane dusted a catalpa grove for sphinx moth caterpillars. The pilot flew six feet off the canopy and cleared the infestation in under a minute.
