Mushroom With A Ladybug On Top

A round little ladybug has climbed all the way up and settled on the very top of this mushroom cap. It faces you with a smiling mouth, two large eyes and two antennae that curl up and over like a pair of question marks. Its wing case sits to one side and carries five big spots, each drawn as a clear outline rather than a solid blob, which means you can color them individually instead of blocking the whole shell in black. The cap beneath is a wide dome with a band running round it and five more open circles across the surface, echoing the spots on the beetle above. A long straight stalk drops down to a line of ground with a few sharp grass blades on either side. Nothing else competes for attention. Red with black spots is the traditional look for a ladybug, and it will pop nicely against a cap done in a softer shade.
