Magical Glowing Mushroom Grove At Night

Two bare trees lean in from the left and right edges of this page, and their branches meet over a clearing where five mushrooms have come up in the dark. A big round moon hangs behind the branches on the left, drawn as a plain circle so you can make it as pale or as deep as you like. Small floating bubbles drift through the air between the trunks, the kind of glowing specks that only show up after the sun goes down. The two tallest mushrooms stand in the center with wide dotted caps and slender stalks. Three smaller ones cluster around them, and clumps of long grass push up between the stems. A low mound runs across the bottom of the scene with three flat oval stones set into it like a path. Night scenes are fun because the usual rules go out of the window. Deep blue or purple across the sky, silver or pale yellow for the moon and the bubbles, and the mushroom caps left bright so they look lit from inside. The open background leaves lots of room, so this one suits a child who wants to finish a whole page in one sitting.
