Young Wizard Apprentice Learning A Spell Coloring Page

A young apprentice stands on the page with a short wand held up in one hand and a tall staff planted beside him, and the two objects tell you everything about where he is in his training. The staff is taller than he is, topped with a small bowl that has a flame in it and three curling wisps of smoke rising away. His own wand is much shorter and plainer. He wears a tall floppy pointed hat with one large five pointed star on the front, a wide brimmed edge, a short cape over his shoulders, a belted tunic and a pair of chunky boots with turned down cuffs. His face is drawn in a big eyed style with a wide nose and a fringe of hair sticking out under the hat. Everything is outlined thickly and there is no background at all, which keeps the sheet easy. The star on the hat is the obvious place for a bright color, and the smoke wisps are best left white so they stay smoke rather than becoming three gray worms.
