Wizard's Tower On A Stormy Cliff Coloring Page

There is no wizard in this drawing at all, only his tower, and it works better for the absence. A slim round keep stands on the highest point of a sea stack, topped by a pointed roof, a pennant on a pole and a ring of square battlements. Beside it sits a lower turret with its own cone roof, a second battlemented wall runs down to the right, and a small arched doorway with a short flight of steps is cut into the rock below. One narrow lancet window is the only opening on the whole tower. The rock underneath is the real subject. It falls away in a dozen long faceted planes drawn with confident straight strokes, wide at the base and tapering upward, and every one of those planes is a separate area you can shade a slightly different tone. Around the foot of the stack a ring of jagged waves breaks against the stone. Keep the sea pale, work the rock from dark at the waterline to light at the top, and the whole cliff gains height.
