Phoenix Flying Over A Mountain With Fire Trail Coloring Page

A phoenix climbs away from the summit of a mountain with both wings beating upward, and a column of flame rises from the slope behind it. The mountain fills the bottom half of the disc, drawn with dozens of long straight lines running down its flanks to suggest scree and snow channels, and the fire beside it is a cluster of tall curling tongues. The bird above is finely worked, with layered feather rows across the shoulders, long pointed primaries reaching to the top of the frame, and a tail of soft trailing plumes falling across the peak. Around the whole scene runs a large circle of vines, small flowers and beads, closed at the top with a formal ornament and anchored by two big blossoms in the lower corners. The sky inside the ring is scattered with tiny floating shapes. Work the mountain in cool grays, the fire in warm tones, and let the phoenix bridge the two with a color that borrows from both. The circular frame is best kept quiet.
