Group Of Fairies Celebrating In A Treehouse Coloring Page

Four fairies have gathered on the balcony of a house built into the trunk of an ancient tree. Two sit on the rail with their legs hanging over, one leans on her elbows, and one sits in the arched doorway behind. Their wings are enormous, spread out to left and right until they nearly touch the edges of the paper, and each is ruled with long radiating veins. Behind them the tree house has a round window with a cross frame, a paneled door, hanging garlands and a carved lintel. The trunk below is drawn in long flowing grain lines that run all the way to the bottom of the sheet. Around the whole scene the tree is in full blossom: heavy branches sweep in from both top corners carrying hundreds of small flowers, buds and leaves, with trailing vines hanging down the sides and a ribbon bow tied to one limb. This is one of the most crowded sheets in the section. Pick two or three colors for the blossom and repeat them in a pattern rather than trying to vary every flower, or the page will fight you.
