The hedgehog balances on top of a tall coiled spring with one arm thrown up, grinning, the spring standing on a round base plate.
The spring is the object worth printing this page for. It is drawn as a proper helix of around nine visible turns, with the back of each turn passing behind the front of the one below it. Nine turns with the overlaps resolved is genuinely absorbing to color, because shading alternate turns makes the coil look round, and that effect is impossible on the flat zigzag most printed springs use.
The base is a thick round pedestal with a visible rim, drawn in perspective so it has a top face and a side face, which is a second easy two tone object right under the first.
His pose is a full stretch with one arm up and both knees bent, so no limb crosses another and every piece has white around it.
The ground is a single soft curve behind the base. Nothing else is on the sheet, because one detailed object and a figure is already enough, and the spring should be the thing you look at.
