Labubu at a Birthday Party Coloring Page

The big eared creature stands behind a round birthday cake in a striped party hat, with bunting strung across the top of the page and a balloon floating at one side.

The party hat has to sit somewhere, and on a character with ears this tall that is a real problem. It is drawn tipped forward and wedged between the two ears rather than perched on the head, which is both funnier and the only arrangement that makes sense. The hat carries diagonal stripes and a pompom on top.

The bunting fills the top strip of the page, which would otherwise be dead space. A row of plain triangular flags on a draped line is a reliable two or three tone pattern job, and the drape keeps the eye moving across the page.

The cake is a single tier with a wavy iced edge, a row of pearls around the top and candles standing along it, each one a separate taper with its own flame. The drum below carries scattered round spots, which are the slow finishing detail.

The balloon at the side is a plain oval on a long string.
