Sonic Beside a Signpost Coloring Page

The hedgehog leans against a tall signpost with his arms crossed and his ankles crossed, looking thoroughly pleased with himself, standing on a grassy mound with flowers growing around his feet.

The sign panel at the top is a plain rounded rectangle with a border band and a rivet at each corner, and nothing written on it. Blank on purpose. Every page in this wave is drawn with no lettering anywhere, and a blank panel at the top of a post is also the most inviting space on the sheet: children write their own name in it, or draw a face, and a fair number of them will.

The lean is what makes the pose work, and it needs his shoulder actually touching the post with the post line broken behind him. It is resolved properly here, so the two objects occupy the same space without either outline becoming ambiguous.

Crossed ankles put one sneaker in front of the other, and the back one keeps its own complete outline behind the front.

The mound at the base is thick with individual grass blades and three open faced flowers on tall stems, which is all the scene this composition needs.
