Two blocky avatars face each other with their raised hands meeting in a high five.
The two figures touch at one point, the meeting palms, and nowhere else. That single contact is what makes a two character page work: everywhere else there is clear white between them, so each avatar is a complete separate outline and nobody has to guess where one ends. Drawn overlapping they would merge into one wide shape in the middle of the sheet.
The meeting hands are drawn with the fingers of both interleaved and a clear line between the two palms, so the contact reads properly rather than becoming one blob.
Both figures are turned inward in three quarter view, which mirrors them. A child who wants to color them as a matched pair can, and the result looks symmetrical because the drawing is.
The two are given different hair, one spiked and one swept, which is what makes them read as two characters rather than one copied twice.
Their shoes are drawn as separate soles and uppers, and the ground is a single long curve across the page.
