Minecraft Torch and Mine Cart on Rails Coloring Page

A cart sits on a rail track in a stone tunnel with a torch burning on the wall at either side of the arch.

The track is the repetitive pleasure of this sheet. A long row of sleepers runs the full width of the page with the rails laid over them, and because the sleepers are identical and evenly spaced the whole track is a rhythm. Children work along a track like this one sleeper at a time and it holds them longer than a single complicated object would. Alternating two browns along the row is the obvious move and it looks deliberate when it is finished.

The tunnel wall behind is a field of stone blocks in staggered courses, dozens of cells, each one a chance for slight variation. The arch over the cart curves through them, which is the one sweeping line on the page and it arranges everything around it.

The cart is an open box with two windows cut into its side and four chunky wheels with round hubs beneath.

The two torches are posts with stepped flames, hung at the same height so the wall has a rhythm of its own.
