Minecraft Blocky Wolf Coloring Page

A cube built wolf sits upright with its tail curled round beside it, two pointed ears on its head, a collar with a tag at its neck and grass growing around its paws.

Sitting rather than standing is the choice that makes this one work. A standing blocky animal is a body box on four leg posts and the silhouette is a table. Sitting folds the back legs under, drops the hindquarters to the ground and gives the figure a stepped profile that rises from the tail to the head, which is a far better shape on a portrait page.

The collar is a band of small cells running round the neck with a tag hanging from it. Those cells almost always end up in alternating tones, and the tag is the one small bright spot most children go for.

The muzzle is a separate box pushed out from the head with a solid black nose on the end, and the eyes are set into a browline strip above it.

The paws are blocks with claw lines scored into them.

The grass at the base is soft and spiky against all the hard edges above it, which is the same contrast the creeper sheet uses.
