Minecraft Blocky House Coloring Page

A house built from stone blocks stands with a shingled roof, a chimney of stacked cubes, a plank door, one window with a cross frame, a blocky tree beside it and a path running away from the step.

The walls are drawn as individual blocks rather than flat planes, and there are a great many of them across the front and side faces. That sounds like a lot and it is the right amount for this subject, because a stone wall colored cell by cell with slight variation looks like masonry, while a wall colored as one flat area looks like cardboard. The variation does all the work and none of it needs skill.

The roof is laid in overlapping shingle rows that step down to the eaves, which gives a second large field of repeated cells with a different rhythm from the walls.

The door is a plank panel with vertical boards and a round handle, and the window is left completely blank behind its frame.

The tree is a straight trunk under a stepped canopy of cubes.

This is the most detailed sheet in the Minecraft set and the one that will take longest, which is exactly what some children want.
