Minecraft Blocky Chicken with Eggs Coloring Page

A cube shaped chicken stands on two thin legs with two eggs and a cube on the ground beside it.

The bird is built from two big boxes, a head cube sitting on a body cube, with a comb on top, a beak and a wattle on the face and a wing folded against the side. Reducing an animal to two boxes is the most extreme simplification in this set, and it is the reason this page suits a young child: the two largest shapes are enormous and completely open.

The feet are where the detail went. Each is a splayed three toed print drawn with clear separation between the toes, which is far more interesting than the blunt blocks the rest of the set uses, and they sit at the bottom of the page where a child finishes.

The eggs are plain ovals, the only curved objects on the sheet, deliberately set next to a hard edged cube so the contrast is obvious.

The legs are thin posts with a knee band, drawn well apart with daylight between them.

The ground is bare apart from two tufts of grass and a few scattered marks.
