The ears are the whole character. Each one is nearly as tall as the head it sits on, and each has an inner panel marked inside it, so there are four large open shapes at the top of the page before you reach the face. Drawn at a sensible size they would be two small triangles and the sheet would be a generic cuddly toy.

The fur is handled entirely at the outline. The edge of the head and body is a scalloped line of small ragged bumps and the inside is left completely open. That is the right way to draw a fuzzy thing for coloring: the ragged edge says fur, and the empty interior means a child can lay one flat tone across the whole body without working around texture.

The grin shows two large square front teeth with a gap between them, drawn big enough to leave white against a colored mouth, which is what makes the face read properly.

The eyes are large with bright highlights left open inside them, and the body below is one enormous uninterrupted oval.
