The big eared creature holds up a waffle cone with two scoops and a cherry, and is wearing a second swirl of ice cream on its head, cherry and all.

The joke is worth the sheet on its own, and it also solves a real composition problem: the top of a portrait page above a short round character is usually dead space, and here it is filled with something a child will want to color.

The cone carries a proper waffle lattice, a diagonal grid of diamonds narrowing toward the point. That narrowing is what makes it read as a cone rather than a tube, with no shading needed.

The lower scoop is drawn with scattered chips across it and the upper one as a smooth swirl, so the two are different jobs rather than two of the same. The swirl on its head is built from stacked coils, giving three or four bands to vary.

The body beneath is one large open shape with the ragged fur edge running round it, which balances all the detail above.

Its hand grips the cone with the fingers in front and the lattice breaking cleanly behind them.
