The little white cat sits behind a round bowl heaped with strawberries, with four more berries on the table in front of it and two small flowers tucked into the pile.
Every berry is drawn as a separate closed shape with its own leafy crown, and none of them merge into the heap behind. That matters more than it sounds: fruit piled in a bowl is usually drawn as a lumpy outline with a few suggestion lines, and a child who wants to color the berries individually finds there are no individual berries to color.
The seeds are small open teardrops scattered over each berry rather than solid dots. Open seeds can be left white against a red berry, which is exactly how a strawberry looks, and solid black ones would be the only heavy ink on an otherwise light page.
The crowns are separate pointed leaves, so the greens can vary berry to berry.
The bowl itself is a plain hemisphere with a rim line and a foot, with no pattern on it at all. Thirteen berries with their seeds is enough work for one sheet, and the bowl is where the eye rests.
