The little white cat sits in the curve of a big crescent moon with stars scattered around her and two clouds drifting below.

The moon is drawn large, taking up a good third of the page, with a plain unbroken inner face. No craters. Craters on a crescent are a cluster of overlapping circles that turn the one big easy shape on the page into a dozen small awkward ones, and the smooth crescent is far more satisfying to lay a single tone across.

The stars are proper closed five point shapes at three different sizes rather than the four line sparkle shorthand, so every one can be filled. The size variation is what makes the sky feel deep instead of patterned.

The two clouds below are simple lobed shapes left completely open inside.

This is one of the few sheets in the set that genuinely rewards filling the background in dark. The sky between the moon, the stars and the clouds is one continuous region, and taking it deep leaves the moon and every star standing out as white paper. That inversion is a trick worth a child discovering once.
