Bluey Hiding Behind a Curtain Coloring Page

A heeler puppy peeks around the edge of a long curtain with one paw gripping the fabric, just her head and that paw showing, grinning at whoever is looking for her.

The curtains take up most of the sheet and fall in long vertical folds from the rail to the floor, two panels of them. Those tall closed strips run nearly the full height of the page, which is an unusual shape to be handed on a coloring sheet and it rewards a different approach from the usual: alternate two tones down the folds and the fabric reads as light catching the ridges. Most children discover that on this page by accident and then use it again.

The rail across the top has a round finial at each end and a visible bracket, small round shapes along a straight line, which makes a good finishing job once the big folds are done.

The window behind shows its glazing bars and nothing else. The panes are left entirely blank, because a view drawn in through a window competes with the subject.

Her head is tucked tight against the curtain edge, which keeps her small and makes the hiding read properly.
