Bluey Blowing Out Birthday Candles Coloring Page

A heeler puppy in a striped cone party hat leans over a tall round cake with five candles burning along the top, three balloons floating on strings behind her.

The cake is built in bands rather than as one iced mass. There is a piped scallop running round the upper edge, a second wavy band below it, a plain drum beneath that and a row of pearls all the way around the base. Four distinct horizontal strips, each able to take a different tone. Cakes drawn as a single silhouette get colored one flat pink and the page is over in a minute. Banded like this the same cake is five minutes of real decisions.

The pearl border is the best part. There are around thirty small beads in an even row, and working along them one at a time is exactly the kind of steady finishing job children settle into.

The candles are separate tapers with their own flame outlines rather than one shared flame shape, so every candle can be a different color, and most will be.

The three balloons are plain ovals on long strings, spaced so none of them touch, and the hat carries a diagonal stripe pattern with a small bow on top.
