Lucky Four Leaf Clover With Dewdrops Coloring Page
Four rounded leaves, three dewdrops and one long stem, drawn large enough that a fist grip crayon will stay inside them.

One clover occupies this entire sheet. Its four leaves are drawn as broad rounded hearts meeting at a small circular hub, and fine lines radiate out from that hub like the spokes of a wheel, just enough to show where one leaf ends and the next begins. Three dewdrops rest on three of the leaves, each a simple open circle. A long slightly bowed stem runs from the hub down to the bottom of the paper.
Counting the leaves out loud before any crayon comes out is worth doing with a young child, since four is what makes this clover lucky and three is what makes an ordinary shamrock. That difference is the whole point of the drawing.
Everything has been sized generously. The leaves suit a thick crayon and the dewdrops want a pencil tip, which is a useful pairing when two children of different ages are working side by side. The empty paper around the stem is often where the picture actually gets finished, with grass, a sky or a second clover added by whoever is holding the pencil.
