Spring Chicks Hatching From Easter Eggs Coloring Page
Two chicks push up out of cracked eggshells in the grass, one crested and one plain, with a third bird peeking in.

Two eggs have broken open near the top and a chick rises out of each, both drawn with soft feathery edges and small pointed beaks. The one on the left is plain headed and looks down and forward. The one on the right has a raised crest of feathers and lifts a wing out to the side, which makes it the livelier of the pair. A third small bird leans in from the right edge, showing only its head and one outstretched wing.
The broken shells are worth attention. Each is cracked in a clean zigzag around the top, and both are banded with rows of evenly spaced circles that run around the widest part, so there is a repeating pattern to work with under all that soft down.
Grass runs along the bottom as separate upright blades, and one whole undamaged egg lies on its side among them.
One practical note. The subject sits low and the top third of the sheet is left completely blank. That open paper is useful if you want to add a sky, a sun or a few birds of your own, but the page will look unfinished if you leave it empty.
