Everything the story needs is on this page at once. The leprechaun stands on the left in a buckled hat and a coat with a broad belt, one hand on his hip, his beard drawn as a soft rounded mass under a wide smile. Beside him is a round bellied pot filled past the brim with coins, each coin a plain circle with a smaller ring inside it, and a handful more have spilled out and lie in a line along the bottom. Behind the pair a rainbow arches right across the sheet in five thick empty bands that reach from one edge to the other and come down just behind the pot.
