Children Picking Up Litter in the Park Coloring Page

Two children work their way across a park picking up litter, one holding the bag open and the other reaching down for a can. This is the Earth Day activity most schools actually do, so the sheet doubles as a way to talk about the clean up before or after it happens. The scene is drawn with plenty of white paper between the figures and the tree, which keeps it colourable for a five or six year old rather than turning into a crowded picture. Count the pieces of litter on the ground with your child first, then colour each one a different shade so the finished page shows exactly how much came off the grass.
