Baby Monster Hugging a Teddy Bear Coloring Page

The teddy is a separate creature with its own face, its own ears and its own color, and keeping it clearly different from the monster holding it is the whole exercise. Go warm brown or gold on the bear and something cooler on the monster and the two never blur together. Go similar on both and the page turns into one shape. Both characters are built from big rounded forms with very little inside them, so there is nothing fiddly anywhere on this sheet. The monster has a row of blunt teeth in a wide open grin, and the teddy has two small round eyes and a rounded muzzle. A child who wants to add more can give the bear a ribbon at the neck or a patch on one arm, which is a nice way to make the toy look loved rather than new.
