Wolf Cubs Playing And Tumbling Together Coloring Page

Two wolf cubs tumble on a patch of grass, one flat on its belly and the other climbing straight over the top of it.

Two cubs wrestle on a patch of open ground. One has flopped onto its belly with both front legs stretched forward. The other clambers across it, tail curled high, mouth open in a play bite. Neither animal is drawn as fierce. They have soft cheek tufts, oversized paws and the slightly clumsy proportions that real pups carry.

The line stays simple and the page is mostly white. Short tufts of grass scatter around the pair to suggest ground, and that is the whole of the background. Large unbroken areas across the backs and flanks make this forgiving for small hands.

Kids from about four upward finish it without help. It also makes a good page for a parent and child to share, since there are exactly two animals to divide between you. Wolf pups are born dark and lighten as they grow, so a deeper cub beside a paler one stays true to life and gives the picture some contrast.

Crayons, pencils and washable markers all suit the open shapes here. Print two copies if you have siblings, because this sheet tends to get claimed fast.
