Ocean Fish Coloring Page

Five cheerful reef fish drift across the middle of this underwater scene, each with a wide friendly eye, a fanned tail, and a body banded by stripes. They are drawn large and round, which makes them the simplest part of the page to handle. Tall ribbons of seaweed rise on both sides, bubbles float toward the surface in a loose trail, and the seabed below is crowded with coral heads, sea fans, and three starfish tucked among them. Reef fish in real life are absurdly bright, so this is not a page to hold back on. Give each one its own combination and put the boldest shade on the stripes so they stand out against the body. Yellow, tangerine, and hot pink all belong here. The seaweed reads well in two or three greens layered so the strands separate from one another. Leave the bubbles white or trace only their outlines in pale blue, since filling them solid makes them look like stones. The coral along the bottom is the fussiest section, so tackle it while your pencil is still sharp.
