A jellyfish fills the upper half of this page, its bell drawn as a broad dome and divided into bands of pattern from the crown down. The top band carries long tapering petal shapes, the next is a row of narrow arches, and the rim finishes in a string of small beads with a ruffled edge below it.
Underneath, the tentacles fall in two kinds. Several are thick and frilled, textured with rows of short strokes down their whole length, and the rest are plain ribbons that curve and cross one another on their way to the bottom edge of the paper. One sweeps far out to the right and finishes in a loose hook.
The space around the animal is packed rather than empty. Layered flowers sit in the top corners and down the left side, fine spiral tendrils thread between them, and small circles float through the gaps like bubbles. A large plain disc occupies the bottom left with a single bloom inside it. There is a lot to get through here, so it suits a colorist who wants a page to return to over several sittings.
