Number 9 With a Puppy Coloring Page

A big open numeral 9 shares this printable sheet with a friendly puppy. Nine is a round loop with a straight tail running down from it, which makes it the mirror image of the 6 in the same set, and holding the two pages side by side is the quickest way to show a child why one is not the other. Most children who reverse a 9 are really reversing the loop, so trace the circle first, on its own, then add the downstroke. The numeral prints as a thick bubble outline with a wide blank loop, so there is a lot of room for a chunky crayon and very little chance of going over an edge.
