Number 7 With a Butterfly Coloring Page

This sheet pairs a big open numeral 7 with a single large butterfly, both drawn in thick outlines with wide blank areas inside. Seven is the easiest digit in the set to write, because it is a flat bar and one long diagonal with nothing curved to control, so it makes a good early win for a child who has struggled with 6 or 8. Trace the top bar left to right, then run down the slope, and say the number at the end of the stroke. If your child mixes 7 up with 1, print both sheets and put them side by side, because the difference is much easier to see than to explain. The butterfly has plain rounded wings and two curled antennae with no pattern inside, so it takes crayon, pencil or marker equally well and a child can decorate the wings however they like.
