Dolphins are clean and open, so contrast between plain animals and heavily worked water carries the design.

Those parallel lines are narrow. A fine liner or a well sharpened pencil holds them, while a broad marker floods straight across and loses the pattern entirely, so test your pens on the outer edge of the water before committing.

The sun invites a warm palette and the water a cool one, and the gap between the two is what makes this sheet work. Push oranges and golds into the rays, hold the waves in blues and teals, and leave spiral centers white so they read as foam catching the light.
